Hotel Fera, Anaheim — full-property renovation and rebrand by JMC

The Difference

Built on communication, not surprises.

Every JMC project runs on the same principle: keep owners informed and the work true to design. From the first budget to the final walkthrough, one accountable team owns the outcome — self-performing key trades and reporting progress every week.

  • A dedicated project manager on no more than 3–5 jobs at a time
  • A full-time superintendent who never leaves your site
  • Weekly progress reports and transparent budgets
  • In-house purchasing, estimating, and millwork under one roof

Preconstruction Phase

Before a single wall moves, we pressure-test the scope, the subcontractors, and the schedule—so there are no surprises once we’re on site.

Cost Estimating

We use cost estimation to predict the quantity, cost, and price of the resources required by the scope of the project.

Prequalification of Subcontractors

We gather and assess as much information as possible to determine a subcontractor's capability, capacity, resources, and performance.

Subcontractor Bidding

We evaluate potential bidders and create and coordinate the bid package, then select the best-qualified subcontractor.

Design Project Team Structure

Each project team is designed specifically per project to establish and execute a functional structure.

Quality Control

We assign an educated project manager to seek out and solve any problems that arise.

Value Engineering

We identify value-engineering opportunities on scope and material selection to keep the project true to design and on budget.
